Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about compatibility, shipping, replacements and support.

How do I find my refrigerator filter code?

Your filter code is usually printed on the side of your current filter, or on a sticker inside the fridge near the filter housing — often at the top-right of the fresh-food compartment or in the base grille. You can also look it up in your refrigerator’s manual. Common codes include LT700P, LT1000P, EDR1RXD1, UKF8001 and FPPWFU01.

Are these original OEM filters?

No. We sell compatible replacement filters, not original manufacturer parts. Brand names and model numbers are used for compatibility reference only. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, EveryDrop, Frigidaire or any other manufacturer.

How often should I replace my refrigerator water filter?

Most refrigerator water filters should be replaced about every 6 months, depending on your water usage and local water quality. Many refrigerators also show a filter-status indicator that signals when it is time to change.

What if I order the wrong filter?

No problem. If a filter does not match your refrigerator, contact us with your order number and filter code and we’ll help you find the right one or arrange a return of any unused, unopened item. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.
